Description: The Mississippi teenager already charged with beating an elderly woman with a brick is now charged with the kidnapping and assault of a toddler. Edward Malane Jr., 14, is accused of two violent crimes within just a few months of each other in the Mississippi Delta. On Monday, Malane was charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and child abuse stemming from an incident with a 4-year-old in Tunica County. He is also accused of beating 77-year-old Shirley Gordon with a piece of asphalt back in August.
